The weight of the mold can be calculated by the following formula:
Flat material: Weight (kg) = Length (mm) × Width (mm) × Thickness (mm) × Material density (g/cm³) / 1000.
Cylindrical material: Weight (kg) = π × Radius² (mm) × Height (mm) × Material density (g/cm³) / 1000.
Square column material: Weight (kg) = Length (mm) × Width (mm) × Height (mm) × Material density (g/cm³) / 1000.
The density of mold steel is usually 7.85 g/cm³, which is an important parameter to use when calculating weight.
The classification of mold steel includes round materials and plates. The formula for calculating the weight of a round material is: diameter (mm) × diameter (mm) × length (mm) × 0.0000062 = weight of the round material (kg).
Using these formulas and parameters, the weight of the mold can be accurately calculated.
