Tool Steels

Tool Steel Can Produce Complex Geometric Shapes That Are Difficult To Achieve With Traditional Processing Through Fine Powder Molding And Sintering In The Metal Injection Molding (MIM) Process, While Retaining High Hardness, Wear Resistance And High Temperature Resistance. The Distribution Is More Uniform During The Molding Process, Reducing Internal Defects, And The Microstructure Of The Sintered Parts Is Denser, Which Is Suitable For Manufacturing Small-Sized But High-Strength Precision Parts, Such As Micro Tools Or Wear-Resistant Parts, And The Material Utilization Rate Is High, Reducing The Cost Loss Of Tool Steel.

Compared With Machining, The MIM Process Is Very Suitable For The Production Of Small, Fine-Structured Tool Steel Parts, Avoiding The High Cost Caused By Complex Cutting. The Strength Of The Parts May Be Slightly Lower Than That Of Traditional Processes. The Advantages Of Unified Structure And One-Time Molding Make Tool Steel More Competitive When Complex Design Or Mass Production Is Required. Later, Heat Treatment Or Surface Strengthening Can Still Meet The Performance Requirements Of Most Industrial Scenarios.
